We hope you enjoy this website and that it will give you a flavour of what our church is like. If you haven’t been to church for a while or have never been before come and have a look. People come for a variety of reasons, ranging from those who are simply visiting to those who are actively looking for a church in which to settle. Wherever you find yourself we would like you to know you are welcome.
About Us
We are a lively informal church representing a broad cross-section of the community. We all meet together on Sunday mornings as a focal point of our church life and as Cell Groups during the week. Key to our life here lies in our small groups or cells, which meet regularly with a desire to be people who are growing up in Christ, growing together in love, growing out to witness and growing more in grace.
The heart of our vision is to genuinely be Good News to the people of Grange Park and those in the surrounding areas.
GPC is an Anglican and Baptist Church Local Ecumenical Partnership.

On Sundays we meet at the community centre in Grange Park.
Directions to Grange Park Church from M1 Junction 15
- Come off M1 at Junction 15.
- If coming from the North Take 2nd exit at roundabout, signposted Grange Park. If coming from the south, just follow the Grange Park signs.
- Straight over one round-about (near Holiday Inn)
- At next round-about (Budgens supermarket opposite) turn RIGHT onto WAKE WAY
- Follow WAKE WAY as it weaves through the housing.
- Pass children's play ground on right
- As road bends sharp left (go past FOXFIELD WAY on the right)
- Take 3rd Left onto Quintonside
- Take 2nd Left onto School Lane
- The Community Centre is right next to Woodland View School

Charlie is married to Charlotte with 4 children. Trained and worked as an engineer in Durham and the North East for 10 years before retraining as a vicar. Moved to Northampton in 1999 to be the curate at St Giles town centre church. In 2002 linked up with Baptist team to start new church in Grange Park - moved there the following year. Charlie loves kite-surfing, the Lake District, watching movies, a pint with friends, curry and adventures with the family. He hates fried eggs.

Jez is married to Shelley and has three children. Before his ordination Jez had been employed in all types of youth work but latterly focussing on young people at risk of social exclusion who live in a rural setting. Prior to this he spent 13 years policing both in civilian and military contexts. Jez will often drop everything especially any work in front of a computer if you invite him outside for exercise or a cheeky pint. Jez loves fried eggs, playing the drums and going to rock gigs which doesn’t help his ever decreasing hearing loss.

Vision and Values
The Core element of our vision is that we, as followers of Jesus, are called to be ‘Good News to Grange Park and Beyond.'

Vision:
Within 2 years:
- Building: Have a Church ‘Centre of Operations’ providing facilities for the church to continue to grow and serve the community.
- Leadership: To grow leaders who grow leaders, but aren’t overworked. Sustainable patterns of leader growth & support.
- Cells – Multiply to 8
- Launch at least one new Congregation / group – reaching those we don’t (e.g. unchurched in GP or in a different area)
- Employ someone in Children’s/Youth work (This goal is on hold)
- Ministry to poor – establish one alongside other Clusters

- Planting a new church
