The Alpha course
The Alpha course is a series of 10 weekly sessions aimed at helping you to find out for yourself what Christians believe and whether it makes sense.
More than 7,000 churches in the UK are running Alpha which has been the subject of an ITV documentary hosted by Sir David Frost who described the course as “Big brother meets the New Testament!”
With Alpha you won’t be embarrassed by any hymn singing or religious ceremony – it will be very informal and you won’t find it boring. Alpha is simply an opportunity for anybody and everybody to take a look at what the Bible says about Jesus Christ and who he is.
If you wish to know more about doing an Alpha course please do get in touch!
We believe in reaching out to the community of Grange Park and the surrounding areas with the love of Jesus. Our mission statement can be summed up with the words “To be good news to Grange Park and beyond”.
We desire to be good news in a variety of ways, be it through our annual KidZone event which connects with over 400 adults and children each year, or our ongoing courses that we run. The following are some of the courses that we have run:
Journeys
A five week journey exploring the Christian faith through real people, amazing stories and changed lives. An introduction to Christianity, utilising a unique blend of stories of faith, told by regular people whose lives have been impacted by God. Journeys features powerful interviews about spiritual encounters, and shows how faith works at ‘street level’.
Life Stories
Another five week course that explores what it means to walk with God in the 21st century by examining the real-life stories of Christians from around the world, as they grapple with life’s challenges through their faith in Jesus Christ. Life Stories tackles the tough questions: Why should I forgive people who hurt me? Where is God when it hurts? Loving others- what’s the point? How do I make good choices? And does prayer really work?
Both Journey's and life stories course and run regularly, please do get touch if you are interested in attending one of the courses.

At GPC we believe mission to be essential – sharing our faith wherever we are, in whatever we do. For some this may be abroad, but for most of us it is living out what we believe in our everyday lives.
Locally we seek to equip our members through Sunday, cells and also run an annual event called KidZone.
Looking further afield we have our mission partners that we support in places such as Birmingham, Spain, China and Senegal.
